This amazing fruit heralds from Peru via a little village beneath the volcanic Mount Vesuvius, near Naples. Its rich flavours and large fleshy composition make the San Marzano most famous for sauce making.

Preparation Instructions: Bring to a gentle simmer and toss with your favourite Pasta Emilia pasta shape. For an extra touch simply add anchovies, salty cheese on top.
